An Image24 is a object representing a bitmap, photo-like image. It consists of a rectangular grid of pixels. The color of each pixel is described by four values: red, blue, green and alpha. The first three determine how much of that color is present at that spot (values range from 0 to 255). The last value determines the transparency: alpha is 255 means that that pixel is not rtransparent so that no background is visible, and alpha is 0 means complete transparency.
